+Some of the hardest-working people are firefighters. So the KGFM Kindness Crew thought it might be a good idea to stop by the Downtown Bakersfield fire station and drop off some doughnuts and cold drinks, just as a small way of conveying our community’s thanks for a job well done. Fire personnel and engines were out fighting a fire when we arrived, but we were able to drop off the goodies and get an up-close look at the classic 1938 fire station.
