Dua Lipa Jumps To No. 1 On Billboard Artist 100 For First Time

For the first time, Dua Lipa has topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart.

The British pop singer-songwriter climbed six spots to reach No. 1 on the chart dated May 22 as her 2020 remix “Levitating,” featuring rapper DaBaby, jumped to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Levitating” is a song from Lipa’s second studio album, Future Nostalgia, which concurrently rose to No. 5 on the latest Billboard 200 chart.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

Lipa is the first British female solo artist to become the top musical act in the U.S. since Adele led the list in March 2016.
